A project built and contributed by Joshua Jackson
This project took app 30 hours to build with a little space inside for a lot of fibers to be installed.
In the pics is shown with holes drilled, fibers being placed in various parts at different stages with a non evasive glue to secure the fibers in their particular hole location.
I used tape to hold down fibers from bulking up.
For this particular build I used approximately 10 feet of 64 strand cable with the .25mm filament and approximately 20′ of 1mm single strand fiber optic filament.
Another pic shows the fiber at a longer length than desired to allow painting to keep the paint from obstructing the light itself.
After desired paint is achieved you must cut the fiber flush to the model.
“Awesome Build! Thanks for sharing Joshua!”
