End-glow vs. side-glow... what's the difference?

End-glow Filament is by far our most popular product offering. Since opening our site back in February of 2000, thousands of our customers have incorporated our end glow filament in a multitude of their awesome creations. 

As it’s name implies, side-glow filament illuminates along its entire length. Side-glow fiber optic filament is becoming more popular in applications that would normally use neon lighting. For longer lengths you may require a more powerful illuminator to help distribute the light evenly and fully through the filament length.
